My dog is a strong swimmer. Does he still need this?
Strong swimmers are actually at higher risk. They swim further, stay out longer, and exhaust themselves faster. The jacket protects against the moment stamina runs out, not inability.

Will the chin flap stay in place?
Yes. The ChinLift flap uses reinforced attachment points, not velcro or a single clip. It's engineered to stay locked in position even when your dog is active in the water.

Does it restrict my dog's swimming?
No. The open front-leg design gives full range of motion. Your dog paddles naturally. The buoyancy panels support posture without forcing an unnatural position.

What size should I get?
Measure around the widest part of your dog's ribcage. Small: 16 to 20 in (10 to 25 lbs). Medium: 20 to 28 in (25 to 50 lbs). Large: 28 to 36 in (50 to 80 lbs). Between sizes? Go up. The adjustable straps let you dial it in.

Will it fit my Frenchie / Bulldog / Pug?
Yes. The adjustable fit system is specifically designed to accommodate flat-faced, front-heavy breeds. The chin support is especially important for brachycephalic dogs whose airways sit closer to the waterline.

Can my dog swim without a leash attached?
Absolutely. The D-ring is there if you want it, but the jacket works perfectly without a leash. Your dog gets full freedom of movement in the water. Most owners only clip the leash for boat trips or strong currents.
